VACUUM AIR FILTERS

Vacuum pump filters are used to filter vacuum air. Sofin filters are built to meet the high standards required by the leading manufacturers of machinery in the sector. The casing is made entirely of epoxy powder coated steel and is designed to work in absolute vacuum conditions. The filters are checked throughout the production process and at the end of the cycle 100% tested to guarantee absolute tightness.

PRODUCT FEATURES

The standard filtering elements are made of paper with 5µmicron filtration which guarantees excellent protection of vacuum generating pumps in normal working conditions. For special applications, however, they can also be requested with a 3µmicron polyester filtering material, stainless steel meshes with various degrees of filtration or in microfibre with absolute HEPA or ULPA grade filtration.

SPECIAL  SOLUTIONS   AND  MODELS  WITH  FLANGED  CONNECTIONS

Cartridge replacement - to be carried out periodically during routine maintenance of the systems - is facilitated by the rapid filter closure system. At the San Mauro Torinese plant, in the province of Turin, Sofin produces filters with special solutions and versions with flanged connections for large capacities on request. The fittings can be:


  • female threaded Gas standard UNI 228/1;
  • special threaded NPT standard Ansi B2.1;
  • special with quick coupling ISO KF;
  • special flanged for large capacities.
